Director and methodologist of music-based dramatic theatre, pedagogue, student of the distinguished theatre-maker Vladimir Klimenko (Klim). From 1988–2002 he was director of the traditional Word and Voice drama school in Elektrostal (Moscow Oblast, Russia). He has been working in theatre for over fourteen years: ranging from classical theatre to laboratory and experimental research, as well as cultural projects rooted in the traditions of the Orthodox Church. He has also directed several anthropological film documentaries (Чтения, 2003 [Reading]; Неведение [Ignorance], 2004), dedicated to N. G. Alexeyev – one of the founders of the Russian school of methodology.
