| Knock, knock - an exploratory journey into Poland |
| Knock Knock, an exploratory journey into Poland, is part of the Workcenter’s initiative towards opening the legacy of Jerzy Grotowski, both practical and intellectual, to a wider base. Thomas Richards, Artistic Director of the Workcenter, will journey through Poland with two young Workcenter members. It will be a reaching-out, a door-to-door travel through which they will step directly into contact with diverse circles of Polish artists, including and especially those who may not be acquainted with Grotowski’s research, opening themselves and Grotowski’s heritage to new intercourse. Furthermore, artists encountered during Knock Knock may be invited to participate in the Workcenter’s Zero Budget Festival that takes place November within Horizons Part III. |
