14-20 April 2011 The Voice of Tradition School / Artistic Research Maisternia Pisni
The school builds on the experience of the Maisternia Pisni Arts Centre – the image of the personal development of the consciousness, a new model of education, which is based on the laws of tradition and on traditional techniques and realized through cultural artistic projects. The work of the School is based on the principles of the theatre of Jerzy Grotowski, Klim and Sergey Kovalevich. Our work here centres around traditional song. The song itself teaches, changes lives, heals. It is at once a manifestation of being and an artistic reality. Strictly speaking, this territory of indivisibility reclaims for us the laws of culture as laws of being, heals the foundation of music and theatre, teaches how do to discover the unique message carried by every human voice.
