Utterance and memory are the ground of Marie, where a woman tries to tell and gather herself. Here the point is not what she says but the very gesture of saying and its actual process. It is not an autobiography, rather a spiritual path. This figure is structured by borrowing from Büchner’s and Walser’s characters (Marion from Danton’s Death and Marie) and is inspired by elements of popular Easter rituals. Choreography and acting: Marie-Geneviève L’Her Directed by Jean-François Favreau Duration: 40’ Théâtre de l’homme ivre works between Paris, Lavauzelle (Creuse, France) and Wroclaw. To create this performance, the company has been hosted by the Grotowski Institute, Henryk Tomaszewski Pantomime Theatre in Wroclaw and LaMétive.
