Marie Théâtre de l'homme ivre
Utterance and memory are the ground of Marie, where a woman tries to tell and gather herself. Here, the point is not in what she says but in the very gesture of saying, and its actual process. It is not autobiography, rather a spiritual path. This figure is structured by borrowing to characters taken from Büchner’s and Walser’s works (Marion from Danton’s Death, and Marie) and is inspired by elements of popular Easter rituals. Length: 40 min Choreography and acting: Marie-Geneviève L’Her Direction: Jean-François Favreau Le Théâtre de l’homme ivre works between Paris, Lavauzelle (Creuse, France) and Wroclaw. To create this performance, the company has been hosted by the Grotowski Institute, the Pantomime Theatre Henryk Tomaszewski in Wroclaw, as well as by LaMétive – lieu international de résidence de création artistique.
