 Exhibition Dust.’ Apocalypsis cum figuris’ in the photographs of Maurizio Buscarino as part of European Culture Congress 2011  In 1979, in Milan, Maurizio Buscarino, a noted Italian artist, photographed the rehearsals and performance of the Laboratory Theatre’s Apocalypsis cum figuris as well as the shooting of a film documenting this performance. Many years later – at the Grotowski Institute’s request – the author edited the rest of the photographs and chose some of them for display in the historical space of the Laboratory Theatre where Apocalypsis was created in 1968. First presented in this historic space in January 2009, it then traveled to other cities including London and Sibiu (Romania). |
