Session II: The Crown of Drama – the dramatic universum of the human being 16–25 September 2011
Session The Crown of Drama – the dramatic universum of the human being of the school The Voice of Tradition addresses the key problems of performing of traditional singing lyrics including the principles of working with lyrical songs in dramatic theatre and the techniques of dramatic theatre involving the basic grounds of the actor’s and singer’s work with traditional song. The session will base on Ukrainian lyrical songs and participants’ songs. At the end of the session there will be open meeting with masters and participants of the session. The session also presupposes the development of grounds for the second act of a performance piece based on the biblical Song of Songs which is being developed by the Voice of Tradition – International Art Theatrical Resource.
