is a poetic tale about death, or rather a lyrical attempt to present life as an eternal continuum. Dance and movement seem to be the perfect tools to address the momentous, indefinable subjects that reach beyond the grasp of our understanding. The formal experiments we see here are not limited to classical dance. Although the performers have mastered the classical dance technique to perfection, it is only a platform to build their own language of movement, their own body expression. Inspirations and avenues for exploration include modern dance and the methods of working with the body rooted in Far Eastern techniques, mostly the Butoh dance. The piece is built around the theme of the music of brilliant contemporary Japanese composer Aube, who specializes in ground-breaking and experimental compositions.
