Przemysław Wasilkowski
Przemysław Wasilkowski, photo by Karol Jarekgraduated from the State Drama School in Łódź. Between 1994 and 1999 he was a stagiaire at the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards in Pontedera, Italy. As a member of the ensemble, he participated in The Actor’s Artistic Training sessions and in the Workcenter’s creative work process, which culminated in the development of a performative work called Action. From 1999 Przemysław Wasilkowski was an assistant to Michał Pawlicki teaching students at his home university (PWST in Łódź). Since May 1999, he has attended a series of sessions-trainings called The Source of Movement. He is currently teaching at a drama school in Olsztyn.
His traditional theatre credits include directing MC HCW Project, Zona Tenebrarum and Black on White Blue and creating stage movement for Balladyna (Kochanowski Theater in Opole) and Polish Thermopylae (Teatr Nowy in Łódź).

As an actor, he has worked with Teatr Nowy in Łódź (Voland in The Master and Margarita and Journalist in The Wedding), Teatr Polski in Poznań (Father Piotr in Forefathers’ Eve), Teatr Koneser in Warsaw (Tinker in Dancing Sarah Kane), Teatr Studio in Warsaw (Artaud in Artaud. A Doppelganger and His Theater) and with international theatres (including Il Mutamento Zona Castalia, Turin, and ARCAT, Paris). He currently performs at Raft Association in Olsztyn and Teatr Śląski in Katowice. His original productions (Lament Doctoris Fausti, Zona Tenebrarum) have been presented on numerous Polish and international stages, including in Italy, France, Greece and Finland.
