Sat-Fri 18–24 August 2012 3rd laboratory KARAWANASUN (6 days of practice, 7th day – rest) Departure to Brzezinka on the 17th of August, return to Wroclaw on the 25th of August. Please send application letter by the 27th of July (until the 28th of June to Justyna Rodziñska-Nair justyna@grotowski-institute.art.pl, from the 29th of June to Marta Grundwald marta@grotowski-institute.art.pl). You can participate in all practices or in only one. Fee • participation in the 1st laboratory includes food and accommodation • participation the 2nd or 3rd laboratory in Brzezinka is 820 PLN (for participants from Central and Eastern Europe), and 300 EUR (for other participants). The fee includes participation in the laboratory, transportation Wroclaw–Brzezinka–Wroclaw, as well as food and accommodation in Brzezinka. During the practice in the laboratories KARAWANASUN, Maciej Stawiñski will participate in the actions, making a documentary film. We will start a special project RIVER OF LOVE I feel that we will be on A JOURNEY into ourselves, travelling through THREE STATIONS, which will be three seven-day practices from July 22 until August 26, 2012. You can practise with us all this time or only one week. You will receive detailed information after you apply for the practice. With YOU – Rena Rena Mirecka was an actress with Jerzy Grotowski’s Laboratory Theatre from 1959 to its dissolution in 1984. She performed in all its productions, including the world-known Akropolis, The Constant Prince and Apocalypsis cum figuris. Rena Mirecka now conducts meetings and workshops for participants from all over the world based on her experiences in the Laboratory Theatre. |
