Page 5 of 6 Jonathan Pitches, PhD, Director of Research, Leader of the Practitioner Processes Research Group and Professor of Theatre and Performance at the University of Leeds. He is a co-editor of the Journal of Theatre, Dance and Performance Training. His books include The Russians in Britain: British Theatre and the Influence of the Russian Tradition of Acting (2012), Science and the Stanislavsky Tradition of Acting (2006), Vsevolod Meyerhold (2003). Janne Risum, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Section for Dramaturgy of the Department of Aesthetics and Communication, Aarhus University. She has published widely on past and present theatre and acting in Europe and Asia. Her dissertation, The Mei Lanfang Effect (2010), is based on extensive archive research. She has a special affiliation with the Meyerhold Memorial Museum, to which she was invited by Maria Alekseevna Valentei in 1994. |
