Katarzyna Tadeusz

Katarzyna Tadeusz is an actress and choreographer. She graduated in anthropology from the University of Silesia in Katowice and from the Academy of Theatre Practices in Gardzienice. In 2007, with Pawe³ Passini, she formed neTTheatre, which has gone to win multiple awards, including the Herald Angel and Total Theatre awards at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe. Her acting credits include: Puppet. The Book of Splendour (2012), Artaud: A Doppelganger and His Theatre (Studio Theatre in Warsaw, 2011), Petit Pets Petty Secrets (2010), Turandot (2009), UFO Meeter (Teatr Wspó³czesny in Szczecin, 2009), All Kinds of Death (£a¼nia Nowa Theatre, 2010), The Other Room (2008), Tehillim/Psalms (2008), Perished (2008) and Resting (2007). She has choreographed for Pawe³ Passini’s Dictionary of the Khazars: Dream Children (Kochanowski Theatre in Opole, 2012) and Ancient Tragedies (Bogus³awski Theatre in Kalisz, 2012). In 2012 she started a working relationship with Joanna Lewicka, performing in her Midsummer Night’s Dream alongside inmates of the prison in Opole Lubelskie and in Subdued: Experience It Yourself (Piêkno Panie Gallery in Lublin). She won the actor award at the 2011 Kalisz Acting Festival.
