The ATIS – associated since September 2012 with the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznañ – is addressed to those international artists, researchers and students who wish to study acting and theatre, as well as to those who would like to deepen in a practical way their understanding of human creativity and expression. Open seminar (for 16 participants) Guest teacher: Roberta Secchi (Teatro La Madrugada, Milan, Italy) Fee: 450 EUR (EU and US), 350 EUR (Poland and other countries); it covers tuition, food and accommodation; apply by 1 July, the organizers will reply by 10 July
Consultative seminar (for 6 participants) Free tuition, accommodation, food and reimbursement of travel costs to and from Wroc³aw up to 200 EUR; apply by 1 July, the organizers will reply by 15 July
Initiatory seminar (for 20 participants) Fee: 100 EUR (EU and US), 70 EUR (Poland and other countries); it covers tuition, food and accommodation; apply by 23 September
The open summary of ATIS NICHE work A free bus will be provided to Brzezinka and back. The meeting point is the Grotowski Institute, Rynek-Ratusz 27, at 2:30pm. The bus departs at 2:45pm.

STUDIO || ROSA (Readiness, Openness, Sharing, Actor) is a space between people that serves long-term work on oneself and research into the relationship between actor training and theatre creation. The work is focused on awareness and the harmonisation of breath, body and voice. At its heart is a quality of lightness, sought for in the flow of actions and dialogues with oneself, one’s environment, partner, group. We strive to make it present in training and in improvisations, understood as a space for being playful. Improvisations help to build a bridge between training and the spheres of the imagination, composition and creation. It is in this domain where performances appear – created by a common effort. Apart from conducting research into actor training and creating performances, STUDIO || ROSA:
Rosa is Polish for “dew”; the Studio is called Pracownia Rzemios³a oraz Sztuki Aktorskiej ROSA in Polish, which literally translates as “acting craft and art work-room”. STUDIO || ROSA works in the Theatre Studio in Collegium Maius of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznañ and wishes to thank Professors Dobrochna Ratajczakowa, El¿bieta Kalemba-Kasprzak and Bogumi³a Kaniewska for their ongoing support. He is Professor in the Drama, Theatre and Performance Department of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznañ (AMU) . He directs STUDIO || ROSA and the Acting Techniques Intensive Seminar ATIS. He is currently writing a book on self-immolation in contemporary culture. She has led educational and artistic projects in local communities and with disabled people. She writes poems and raps. He is a PhD student in drama at AMU in Poznañ and teaches in the Poznañ Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA).
