Alternative Theatre Academy |
Alternative Theatre Academy (ATA) is a project of comprehensive, interdisciplinary, informal theatre education which aims to raise the organisation, artistic and culture-building skills of alternative theatre leaders, strengthen their motivation to work for the benefit of local communities and provide practical tools and skills related to ensemble work methods. 18 monthly sessions will take place from September 2015 to March 2017 at the Grotowski Institute in Wroc³aw, the Kana Theatrical Centre in Szczecin or Teatr Brama in Goleniów. The ATA programme will feature training sessions, theatre and vocal workshops, practical training, discussions, film screenings, lectures, as well as work presentations and performances. Leaders will include theatre companies such as Teatr ZAR, Teatr Chorea, Stella Polaris, Studium Teatralne, Teatr Ad Spectatores, Teatr Cinema, Teatr Krzyk, Body Snatchers Theatre, STUDIO || ROSA, as well as celebrated theatre personalities from Poland and beyond, including Leszek Bzdyl, Arti Grabowski, Jan Peszek, Tomasz Rodowicz, Oleh Stefan, Eugenio Barba, Savvas Stroumpos and Theodoros Terzopoulos.
