Since he completed his training at Etienne Decroux’s School of Corporeal Mime (1964–1968), Yves Lebreton has been conducting theatre workshops during his international tours. The Body-Energy technique, created by Yves Lebreton, develops the vitality of the four fundamental energies of the being within the womb of the actor’s process of expression. Programme: mineral energy/the soil/presence; vegetal energy/water/; animal energy/fire/action; mental energy/the air/awareness.

The workshop is primarily open to actors, dancers and singers (professionals, amateurs and students) who want to enrich their artistic expression but also to all those interested in studying the languages of body and voice outside a theatre context.

Yves Lebreton was born in Paris in 1946. He studied classical music: guitar, piano and cello (1962–1966), graphic arts and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris (1963–1966) and corporeal mime in the school of Etienne Decroux in Paris (1964–1969). In 1969 in Denmark he founded the Theatre Atelier Studio 2 (under the auspices of the Inter-Scandinavian Laboratory Theatre for the Art of the Actor) and was its director until 1975. In 1976 he founded Théâtre de l’Arbrein in Paris, which in 1981 was transferred to Tuscany, where in 1983, in an old renovated farm, he created l’Albero, the International Centre of Theatrical Education, Research and Creation.
