 Is a French writer, journalist and documentary film director. He was trained (by Pascal Monod and Telmo Herrera) as an actor in the principles of the Poor Theatre period of Teatr Laboratorium during the years 1973–1976. After attending workshops with Ryszard Cieslak, Jacek Zmyslowski, Stanislaw Scierski, and Teo Spychalski, he participated in the Theatre of Sources program from 1979 to 1981. Co-founder of Gruppo Internazionale l’Avventura, he was the originator and director of the Azioni nella Città project and film. Then, following a long collaboration (still in progress) with late Laïachi Hamshish and then Fatna Hadnan, both priests of the Gnawa brotherhood in Morocco, Guicheney settled in France in 1993, where he has continued his work in journalism, writing and documentary filmmaking in the field of folk memories, healings and archaic traditions.
