She comes from Wroclaw, a graduate of the Individual Interfaculty Studies in the Humanities at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow; author of a master’s thesis dedicated to kalarippayattu and performing arts. In the years 2004-2005, she was connected with the Grotowski Centre as a participant of work sessions, volunteer, and a translator. Currently, she is a work session and project coordinator at the Grotowski Institute. She has learned the Southern style of kalarippayattu since 2005 in Thiruvananthapuram from Jayachandran Nair (Kerala School of Martial Arts), and presently from Thankappan Assan and Ajith Kumar (Maruthi Marma Chikilsa Kalari Sangham and Ayurveda). She co-leads trainings and workshops. She regularly travels to India in order to continue the practice and strengthen family ties. |
