Graduated in Polish philologyfrom the Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznan with a dissertation entitled ‘Wiecej niz teatr'. Teatr Wiejski Wegajty – fenomen kulturowy i artystyczny’ ('More Than Theatre'. Village Theatre Wegajty – cultural and artistic phenomenon) supervised by Prof. Dobrochna Ratajczakowa. From 2001–2005, she collaborated with the Field Project of the Wegajty Theatre. Since 2004, she has been a PhD student of the Drama and Theatre Department at AMU, where she is writing her thesis dedicated to Ludwik Flaszen under the supervision of Prof. Ewa Guderian-Czaplinska. She has worked at the Grotowski Centre, and subsequently at the Institute, since 2005, where she co-ordinates the activities of the Publishing Section.
