A theatre worksession focused on finding one's creative flow and life. Gey Pin Ang will guide participants towards developing an approach to the creative process that integrates performer's physical and vocal capacity. The participants will be guided to approaching a mode of working-- with flow, intention, aliveness, with contacts and search and play games with working partners, in a non-mechanical way while continuously doing the exercises.

Actor at Work, 2008. Phot. Maciej ZakrzewskiCertain elements and exercises also draw from Chinese martial arts, mainly Taichi. The vocal work involves constant listening while singing the song(s), in accord to the song’s tune, tempo-rhythm, and at the same time in attune to one’s heart.

Each participant will also propose and develop an individual acting proposition during the worksession (English translation of the text should be handed in on the first day of the worksession):  the participants will work to structure their pieces with details, intention, and execute with clarity.
