By: Christopher Marlowe Adapted and performed by: Domenico Castaldo Artistic supervision: Katia Capato Props: Maurizio Maletti Costume: Rossana Dassetto
Tamerlano, born as a performance with four actors, has become since 1997 a physical and vocal structure for one performer. The result has provided a very effective instrument for research and demonstration. It also marked the beginning of Katia Capato's collaboration with Domenico Castaldo as the main observer of the work.
The actor goes through a continuous flow of movements and action for almost one hour, narrating the ventures of the ancient warrior while changing from one character to another.
