Official inauguration of the Grotowski Year in New York, organised by the Polish Cultural Institute in New York and the Department of Performance Studies at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.

In the programme: panel discussion led by curator of the Grotowski Year in New York, Prof. Richard Schechner, with the participation of Ludwik Flaszen, Jaroslaw Fret, and Grzegorz Ziolkowski; and the opening of the photography exhibition Grotowski in Poland by Andrzej Paluchiewicz (through 20th March).

Opening of the exhibition Performer, prepared by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw and the Zacheta National Galery of Art, in collaboration with the Grotowski Institute. The exhibition will be open through 24th March 2009.
